Check back soon for a strategy discussion video about this match.  I will sit down and give you guys some commentary about how I decided to go about playing the game and the strategy that I had in mind.

About Son of Adam

I am a 40k player and have been since the time of third edition. My first love, and presently an unfortunate one at that, is the Tau. In 4th edition I began a modest IG army, and then started a small yet growing Grey Knight trophy army in 5th. In the recent past, I have succumbed to the desire to play Eldar; that same alluring desire of precision in play, and artistic gracefulness of modeling that many 40k players always seem to toy with. I am finding this last army to be very challenging and enjoyable. My involvement with the hobby is as an appreciator of much of the fluff, an admirer and novice in the art of modeling, and an enjoyer of the game.

  1. Great Battle report! 🙂

I d like to see GK vs DE ! 😛

    Keep it up!
    Newt.

    • Thanks Newt. Anything you think we can improve on?

I know some guys who play dark eldar, but most of their stuff isn’t painted. I might just make that GK vs. DE video for you anyway. You can’t complain if only one side looks good though ;).

  2. Quality is nearly perfect, comment on everything, not to long, not to short…

    Whats to improve? 🙂

What could be interesting is a short interview at the end about the game (most valuble unit, gamechanger,… ) U guys are very experienced players. We could learn more 😉

    • I agree, an interview at the end would be a nice touch. We could learn what the initial game plan was, how it changed throughout the game, and what could have been done differently.

That alpha strike by the SMs was nasty, I’m surprised the Eldar were able to recover. Good report.

      • We actually recorded one at the end of this video, but the store was too loud to actually get anything that was quality enough to publish.

So, I did a strategy follow-up for it. You can see that up top under the video tab, if you haven’t already. Is that more along the lines of what you were thinking?
